Hi, I’m Tommy

Dolomites Photographer

I was born in the foothills of the Dolomites, and my vacations were divided between trips to the mountains and a few weeks at the beach.

As I grew up, however, I felt an increasing call to the rocks, which I shared with friends. I started with hiking, then moved on to climbing, and lately, trail running.

I discovered photography while capturing the beauty of the mountains: at night, during sunset or sunrise.

My passion for photography coincides with my passion for storytelling, particularly in weddings.

I recently had the opportunity to photograph a wedding in the mountains. It was a wedding that broke away from the usual canons. The focus was more on the value of the moment than on the details and superfluous aspects. It was a free wedding, and I was thrilled to be a part of it.

Approach

& Philosophy

Throughout all these years of exploration, I have gained knowledge of the mountains and their secret spots. As a wedding photographer, I have gained sensitivity to capturing delicate moments and the people involved.

For as long as I can remember, I have spent time in the mountains. First, with my parents, and then on my own, I tried to explore every nook and cranny in every season.

Through hiking, I discovered via ferratas and free climbing routes on the peaks of the Dolomites. I started ski mountaineering and ice climbing during the winter because I realized that spending so much time away from the rocks was not good.

Finally, in the last few years, trail running has become my favorite activity. I discovered these races on the internet where people run in the mountains, and I was enchanted.

This year, I will realize my dream of running the Lavaredo Ultra Trail, the queen race through the Dolomites. It is a journey of 120 km with 6,000 meters of elevation gain.
